quick intro ;-)
Hi ya'll- just thought I would quickly introduce myself- I've been a member of OH for about 2 years now- I didn't know this board existed til someone told me about it rescently- I'd love to chit chat with ya'll and maybe help out with any questions- A little about my WLS journay- I had Lap RNY Nov 18th 2002- I've lost about 180 pounds in the past 2 years- I am now 11 days post Tummy Tuck- so I'm home recoperating- I must say, I am EXTREMELY unpleased with the results of the Tummy Tuck- I feel my surgeon was MUCH to conservative with the amount of skin he removed- Sorta like- He promised me a mercadez, and I've ended up with a pinto- I guess it's just something I'm going to have to live with- I'm pretty sad right now about this because I've waited so long, with such high expectations, and went through so much to lose the weight, and then sooooooooooooooooo much pain with the TT surgery- Well, no bikini's in my future- but I am still blessed to have what I had done. I live in RURAL Vermont where I'm quite lonely- I'd love to make some pen-pal friends- Looking forward to "meeting" you all...I'm always happy to get emails ([email protected])
Blessed be !!! Kim (aka Wabbit)
Welcome to the group Wabbit!! I love how you can see a picture of the person your typing to, seems like a better way to get to know everyone.
Your being really hard on your tummy job. It WILL look better when it has healed, mine was all lumpy and crocked even!! Want to see a picture of what it looked like?? It might help you feel better about yours!!
Glad to see you here!!
Hi Kim - sounds like good info about your tt - I was going to suggest that 11 days is way too soon for the swelling to be gone - so give it another 2 months before you start screaming at your doctor - unless you think there's something else going on.
Welcome, welcome. You've really done a great job - 180 lbs! That is fantastic.
Ruth
Welcome aboard. I just recently found this board as well. I had my t/t on June 21, 2004. Anchor T. -2.5 pounds of skin/fat. I am very pleased with mine. I'm sure you will be too when the swelling goes down. That takes quite some time. Chin up!! Wait for the swelling to go down. Best of luck. Give it a few more months minimum. Best wishes. Catch ya on the boards again. Kathy... Open RNY Proximal...June 23, 2003... 295/183/170.. Take care. Keep smiling.
