Hello ALL from Space Coast in FL

Hi, just stumbled across this board. I haven't even been on the web-site since May, so I was surprised to see a GLBT board here. I had LAP RNY back in March of 2003, so it's almost been 1.5 years. I have lost just over 200 pounds in that time and I feel healthier than I have in years. I too have a very supportive partner that can eat anything he wants and still stays thin and healthy. But since I had this surgery he eats more like I do, which is more protein and less complex carbs. My cousin in St Louis, MO is having open Gastric Bypass as we speak. He is also gay and has has been heavy all his life. We are so happy that he is finally going to get this life-saving surgery after two years of fighting with his insurance company. If any of you live on the Space Coast or around Orlando please feel free to drop my partner Joey and I a line. We love to make new friends and offer support to anyone who is going through this surgery. Bobby
