Welcome to the GLBT board! glad you found it!! Congrats on your surgery date, the 29th will be here before you know it! You've done such a great job with WW so far, I am sure it will help you continue to do great with the open RNY. I had open RNY back in Feb. and it wasn't nearly as bad or painful as I thought it might be! Good luck and I wish you and your partner the best!!

Hi there! Glad you found it and are on your way. I am almost 4 weeks out of lap RNY. Remember...walk after surgery, deep breathe, take lip balm, and drink your water when you can....oh, and have a great time! By your picture...your positive attitude should take you far! Good luck and God bless. Anna

Denise, I am two and a half years out, and I am loving life even more that I thought I could. I started at 314, and am now steady between 150-155. It continues to amaze me that I am this small. I had no life before surgery. I focused on work. Now I have such a full life! I even met my girlfriend through obesityhelp.com, and feel blessed that I have a partner that I can share everything with. You both are going to embark on a fabulous journey. There will be trials and tribulations, but mostly there will be a greater love of life, and you will be able to live life free from the constraints of obesity. I am so proud that you have taken this step towards freeing yourself. It took a lot of guts, and you should be proud of yourself! If you have any questions or fears, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Until your surgery on the 29th...CONGRATULATIONS!!! I cant wait to see you on the other side! All my best, Tammara
