Hi Sherry, There is lots of support in Dallas. There is a great group that meets out by you on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 at Lancaster Medical Center in the classroom next to the cafeteria. Starbucks Support Coffee at Abrams Rd. and Royal Lane Saturday March 13, 2004 10:00 am - 2:00 p.m. This very supportive group is open to all, pre-op, post-op, just thinking about it. We just get together and talk about what has worked for us or to answer any questions you might have. There are lots of big losers and longtime post ops who attend as well as pre ops.

Welcome Sherry! I live near Dallas and attend a few of the area WLS support groups. I am pre-op, too... Girl, get yourself to a meeting---it is so exciting and encouraging to see and hear the success stories!!! Hope to see you there! Cheryl
