I forget this forum exists!
Welcome! I have found that going into WLS and in the early months post-op, I missed many of the comforting foods like pizza, pasta, and baked goods. As I changed my diet and lifestyle, I came to realize how little I really miss them today. What I learned is that I can generally have just about anything but in small quantity and only the "bad" stuff on special occasions. This week is Thanksgiving and I will have many traditional dishes. I will have considerably less and enjoy the meal that much more.
