Anyone had a RNY revision ?

Hello Fam,

I wanted to know if anyone has had a revision. I have a revision date for September 16, 2013 I'm just waiting for my approval( fingers crossed ). Looking to talk to people in my situation. I had RNY March 25, 2010 I weighed 346, lowest weight 217. I am now at 264. Pouch to big and the connection between the intestine and stomach or other. I would love to chat.

I had a revision from band to RNY. Now I am really losing weight and it is much easier to limit food. Very happy with my decision.

I revised from a Lapband to RNY, not the same experience as you. I agree, the Revision board is the best place to ask this question and discuss revision surgery.

I had a revision from an RNY to a DS on 11/28/12.

RNY 08/3/2009 SW 310 lowest 199 ... For like a day, gained back to 286

DS 286, I'm 9 months post op. 186. Best decision I ever made.

I too had a stretched stoma and pouch.

hoping ur approval comes through! I know it's nerve wrecking waitig to hear back.
