Posting about gay issues on a "regular" forum...

I will never do it again!!!   I honestly do not think that straight people can possibly understand what gay people go through. I made the mistake of posting about something in my personal life on another forum and I regret it now. I'm still fuming.  There was really one kind post to it and the others just upset me. I deleted everything that I wrote.  The only thing I don't like is how slow this board is.  Where is everyone??

I am sorry you didn't receive a good response to your post. Was it the one regarding your living situation? That definitely sounds like a stressful and complicated situation for you. I hope you are able to find a way to make it work for you while you need to stay there. Keep thinking of the future and when you & your wife will have your own place again! Hang in there!!

Thank you .  I appreciate your response.  I just think that it was getting offensive. That;s why I deleted everything that I wrote.  I didn't want it to go any further.  I wanted to discuss the fact that I am feeling so uncomfortable.  I understand that my in laws are doing such a wonderful thing for us.  That;s part of the reason that I felt bad because I felt how I did.   I don't need to defend my life and that's the direction that it was going.  I'll keep that  part of my life to myself from now on and definitely not post anything like that on the RNY forum again.  Thank you though :)

Yes, I had read your original but went back to see the responses after I saw this post & people were really being nasty-just not right!
Again, I am sorry you had to experience that, especially on here where we are supposed to be supporting each other!

I came back to this forum after a while of being away and noticed the traffic was much slower than years past.   What's going on is right.   I'm here for ya!

Sorry you had that happen!  i wish this forum wasnt so slow or I would definitely post here more!
