3 year journey picture. Interesting.
My journey through my niece Eliza's last 3 birthdays. We have taken a pic at her 13th, 14th and now 15th birthday party. The first photo I was before surgery at my heaviest which was 311 lbs, the second photo was when I was 5 months post op weighing around 200 lbs and the final photo is me now at 17 months post op weighing 145 lbs. We have both changed so much. She is turning into a woman as I turn into the woman I always was/wanted to be underneath the extra weight. What an amazing journey!
[Starting Weight: 311] [Surgery Weight: 287] [Current Weight: 141 [Goal Weight: 150] 9 lbs BELOW goal! Yay!

Wow thats awesome! Congrats and good luck! You will have an amazing journey and you and your wife will have so many new things to share! My partner had RNY 7 years ago. It is such a blessing to be in a relationship with someone who has had WLS. So many perks!

I was thinking about you the other day because you have had such a dramatic transformation. I have been checking this site every night, for the last 6 months, as I do my required wait. I have seen the pictures that you have posted over the past months, and I find myself slightly envious of you. I am so excited for all your success, and want to do the same, but afraid I will not. Your pictures make it look so easy. You dont have saggy skin, you have lost a huge amount of weight and you look so very happy. Can you tell me what you think has made you so succesful, and what was your biggest struggle?
Thank you for sharing! It truly means a lot to see success stories like yours. I finished my last required step today for my file to be submited to insurance for the long anticipated call to schedule my date.
