Just introducing myself

Hi all!  I have been playing on OH for about a month and never realized that there was a GLBT forum.  I'm super excited!

I'm Heidi - partner is Amy.  I'm 30, she is 31.  We've been together nearly 6 years.  My weight has bounced around a LOT since we've been together, especially after the birth of our daughter (I carried - and gained 58 lbs in the process).  I decided on WLS about a year ago and am about 3 weeks in now.  What a journey already!  I cannot believe the emotional/mental games that food plays with me!  I am hoping to nip that in the butt - and reading all the success stories on here helps when I'm feeling down... so I want to thank all of you for that.  We're also attempting baby number two (Amy's carrying - yay for me) so that is helping to keep me distracted. 

Hoping to get to know some of you!  Glad to have this forum!!

So many wonderful things happening in your's and Amy's life!  That is fantastic.  Congratulations on your recent weight loss.  Food certainly does have a powerful grip on many of us.  I hope you continue to find inspiration wherever you can as you continue to be successful in this journey.

I am in St. Paul too (well, Lauderdale to be precise).  It has been a crazy journey, but well worth it so far!  OH is a great resource!
