Shopping in Your Partners Closet

I have an interesting question, that I NEVER thought would be a possibility.

146 pounds down, I find myself now wearing a size MEDIUM - which I never thought was possible for me (I REALLY cannot be becoming a 41 year old twink).  My partner is also a medium (although hes two inches shorter than me, so no borrowing his pants).  For those of you who are partnered - do you share clothes?  Is there an etiquette for that?

Just Curious.

 I dunno. We kinda traded. Now I wear small shirts and size 30 jeans. He's been bodybuilding and now wears XL shirts and size 34 jeans. No help here I'm afraid!

Since getting down to a 34 in jeans I have definitely started shopping in my partners closet.  The problem is now I am too small for most of his cloths so I finally have to go out and shop for more.

Hi Everybody;

I laughed when I saw your post. Yes, I swipe things from my partner's closet. I do believe that there is an etiquette to this though - I try not to take anything that she may need to wear for work. As far as I am concerned though, t-shirts and night-shirts are fair game! Sometimes she notices and I just smile sheepishly and remind her that by doing this, we are saving money!

LOL  Yes, we do. Both my partner and I had WLS. He is 2" taller. So, pants are out. I don't know if we have any etiquette. Our tastes are somewhat different. That limits what we will wear of each others clothes. But, if I see something I like, I wear it. He doesthe same.

I love that my partner and I can pretty much share clothes.  We go to Old Navy, buy 8 pairs of shorts and either of us can wear them.  It is great.

The biggest issue is that because I have been buying new jeans he has been wearing them alot.  He is shorter, so he has walked the back out of several of the new pairs's legs.  That is a little irritating.  :)

The only thing we can't really share is shoes.  Unfortunately, WLS had no effect on my size 13's.

I love this part of my journey...I went from a 48 ish to a 34 ish...I steal his clothes all the time and he steals mine...I just tell him hey it we paid for them they are ours...
We have been together for 10 years next month so we really dont fight and never really have..I do remember the one time where, he called me at work and said "HEY HAVE YOU SEEN MY RED SWEATER, I SAID I AM LOOKING AT IT RIGHT NOW". "HE CALLED ME A SKINNY ***** AND SAID I WAS GOING TO WEAR THAT TODAY." I SAID YOU SHOULD O*****TEN UP EARLIER"..
