SURGERY HAS BEEN SCHEDULED!

Ok...so now i'm scared, nervous, excited, scared, etc LOL!

I am scheduled for VSG on March 21st...i begin my two week pre-op diet tomorrow.  Had my EGD on Monday...i'm a mess of different thoughts/emotions...

Lawwwwddddd....here I go ya'll!  LOL

Congrats!  It's a wild and amazing journey filled with every single emotion known to man.  Just breathe through it all and trust yourself.  You made this decision to claim your health and vibrancy and you should be very proud of yourself.  You'll do great. Just keep your big goals in mind with every step and remind yourself every day why you chose to do this.  Make sure you that find a WLS support group near you.  Most hospitals or bariatric surgeons will be able to recommend a local group meeting to you.  They have been the key to my success.  You'll learn a lot and having support from people who are going through or gone through everything that you are is a tremendous help.  Some of my closest friends are people that I met in support groups.

Congrats Buddy!! What you are going through is natural, trust me. My partner had it a week to the day before me and I was more nervous about his than mine. So I guess I got off easy because I saw how it went for him. But man this is one of the best decisions you have ever made and by following through and getting this far it shows you have the metal to do make it!

Thanks Everyone!  I sure will keep everyone posted on what's going on....today is my third day of my pre-op diet...plus i started my million pills a day for that H Pylori stuff they found in my Scope...they said my surgery will still be on the 21st.

I also tested positive for H Pylori, after one week on antibiotics it was cleared up.
