Stall and NSV with pics!!!!
So, I've had somewhat of a stall for a few weeks. I think its been the combination of being pretty much healed, being able to eat more things, Thanksgiving pies, and being super busy this time of year at work. I've lost 80lbs in just a little over 4 months, so I shouldn't complain. Even after reading tons of posts about stalls and how normal they are and experiencing some mini ones myself, I did get a little bit down in the dumps about mine. But last night, I was going through some old boxes and found my old FFA jacket. I bought it my freshman year in high school (19 years ago). IT FIT!!!!! I was so happy. This little NSV gave me just the nudge I needed to pass on the Christmas candy and TAKE TIME to go to the gym every morning and not slip back into my old pre surgery ways!
Here is a before pic taken at Thanksgiving of 2010 and then the pic of me in my FFA jacket.
Thank you all, my beautiful and strong friends!

You GO boy! I LOVE those NSV's...I've gotten into my XL leather jacket...am now at the last small size pant I had kept from...MANY years ago...(now I have to spend money...thank you Savers!) But don't get too discouraged with stalls...if you'll notice, I'll bet even through the weight # stalls...your pants and shirts are still loosening up...your body is still redistributing weight around...and you're working out, you're building more muscle that weighs more then the fat...we all lose it fast & furious in the beginning, but slow down as time progresses...just be diligent about WHAT you put in your mouth (food wise...) and keep up the exercise...most important thing is consistency...but don't get in a rut/routine w/exercise...change it up, keep your body guessing what's coming next!
Happy Holigays!

Wowie! 80 lbs in 4 mos! You look fantastic! And I'm glad that you found your motivation again. James is totally right... if you are not losing lbs, you probably are losing inches. It's actually a fact that the body cannot lose both lbs and inches at the same time. Keep up with making the healthy choices and enjoying you renewed body! You're totally rockin that 19 yr old jacket!
You look amazing!!! Congrats, hottie!
Hand in there, stalls suck, but they are a part of the journey ,so keep measuring!
Good Luck,
