MNBear,
Nice post! I believe that you will see a significant transformation in your life. It is so good that your partner is along for the ride. So often I hear that significant others sabotage a person's weight loss journey. Support, most importantly support from the person you love the most, is quite critical in WLS success. At times your post-op life will be difficult. Fighting the obesity beast can be tiring. That supportive voice will help you on your way. My husband Brett had RNY 2 years prior to my Lapband surgery. He has been of great support to me on my journey.
Best of luck on your surgery and new life that you are embarking on.

I am working on revision surgery from the band to RNY and feel so fortunate that my wife is so supportive. She amazes me and I am so happy to have her in my life! I do kinda feel bad for her cuz she will have to go through all my trials and tribulations yet again, but we will get through it.
Danni, I think I remember you when you were first going through your surgery. You look so good! I'm so happy for you!
Aloha,
Barb
