Howdy again

Hi all -

Just wanted to throw a big "howdy" back out there, I've been fairly (mostly) good on my recent diet, still losing, but I drifted away from the OH community and want to reinvolve myself again.

How's everyone doing?  I'm just a slice of a pound away from crossing down to that beloved weight of 199 pounds.... so close!

Welcome back! I now have a surgery date of 11/30/11 after winning my appeal w/ insurer. Trying to lose some pounds pre-op through hi protein, low carb diet and working with a trainer who is kicking my a$$! But hey, I'm seeing results, so a little pain and sweat is a small price to pay. Congrats on your progress & stay in touch!

On, congratulations on your appeal!  You must feel really pumped!!

Woo Hoo, almost to Onederland! That's awesome!

What are you next goals? Hopefully you've got some non-weight related ones....

Oh?  Non-weight related goals...

Well, I hope to run a 5K someday, and start rock climbing.

I also have a collection of XL-sized nerdy T-shirts that I hope to be able to wear (I always bought them as inspiration to lose weight.... didn't work so well).

Maybe I need to define more NSV goals!

Yeah NSV's are the way to go. I mean the weight loss is awesome, but some of those other goals are just life-changing.

I'm sure that you'll run that 5k and probably under-grow those XL shirts!
