New to Forum

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forum but not the site. I've visited for years and just poked about doing this and that. I didn't feel I had mu*****ommon, beyond the desire to have WLS, to few on here. I decided to click the more button under forums and LOOK I find this one. Now this, I can relate to. Today is my first time posting to forums. I feel like I am one of the team now that I'm on the losers bench. RNY Aug. 30, 2011.

How have things gone since the surgery?  A week out...a time of big changes!

Thanks Danny for the welcome. Since surgery things are pretty good. 13 days post op here. Been back to the hospital on day 6 bordering on dehydration. They juiced me up after a good once over and sent me home. Been feeling good since then. Down 27 lbs. Yippee.

Hi I had my RNY on the same day as you. I saw my surgeon today down 16 since day of wls. On to phase 3 of the diet. How are you doing? Roni

Hi Roni,

Congratulations. We have the same birthday then! I am down 27 since wls. Today I'm supposed to start phase 3 too. I may try. I've already been on some puree anyway since I don't like the shakes much and the liquid hurts more than the puree going down. How did you do on the last phase? Anything new or weird happening? For me, I am craving something spicy. Prior to the surgery you couldn't get me to go near anything hot/spicy.
