EGD Tomorrow - Surgery Tuesday

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all doing great this Wednesday.  It's been crazy busy for me, trying to get ahead in my work so that I can be off for a while after surgery.  I'm planning to go back to half days after a week off.  They've let me konw I should feel free to take more time if I feel like I need it.

Well, tomorrow is my EGD.  I'm not too nervous about it but I do have to be there at 7:00 a.m.  Ugh.  That's a little early for me.  :)

Holy Moley....that went fast...hope things are well...dont be nervous it will be here and over before ya know it...
I did WFH after a week and was fine so you should be good by then....Keep us in the loop, dont make me worry about ya..

I know!  It seems like I waited and waited, then all of the sudden...wham...it's happening.  The EGD went great...no problems.  He did take a biopsy which is normal, and will check it for H pylori.  I did finish my treatment for it, but in some cases it doesn't completely knock it out.  If it hasn't, I'll probably have to postpone surgery, but I doubt it'll come to that.  (That would be a downer.)

Anyway, I'll keep y'all updated.

Very glad the EGD went well and hope they don't find anything in the biopsy.

Good luck on Tuesday and let us know how it goes. Believe me, the results are amazing and I didn't find the surgery that difficult. Very easy recovery for me.

I feel pretty comfortable that the biopsy will be h pylori free.

I'll let everyone know how it goes and I hope my recovery is as quick as yours was.
