Happy Pride Month!! Boston Pride is this weekend on Saturday, we are taking the commuter bus down, I am looking forward to some walking and to the festivities. I find that since my surgery I have been restless and my energy as shot up. Starting to feel better and less "blue" ...clearing all the meds made me a little "Jekyll and Hyde" like :-(  I have now graduated to soft  "mushie"  food! So far so good!

We have been blessed with beautiful weather, although it is predicted to get warmer and humid in the next few days....If anyone is near the NH area...My partner and I are hiking the Northwood Meadow trail (the smaller loop) off of Route 4 in Northwood NH on Sunday. We are starting our trek at 10 am and bringing our dog Olive (on leash). Just thought I would put it out there!

Hope you all have a wonderful day- Xico

Yes, the beautiful weather makes being active so much easier and more fun. I spent Memorial Day week in CT. RI and MA. It was a spectacular week. Setting a routine of activity like hiking pays off big when paired with WLS. I went fro ma couch potato to a pretty active guy post-op.  -- Tom

Pride was a blast after losing 50 lbs. I did not get winded walking and was able to dance at the club afterward. It does feel great and I am only at 253...I can't wait to continue the journey... I do find that my couch potato ways are also reversing b/c I feel so energetic!  :-)
