Approved...and have a date!

I'm so excited.  I got the call earlier today that I was approved, and that my surgery is scheduled for June 14th!  That's less than two weeks away.  I start my all-liquid diet tomorrow.  It's hard to believe it's finally here.

The liquid diet isn't SO bad yet.  I'll live...I'm just not so sure about Kenny.  While hitting the garage sales this morning, I found his driving a little irritating for some reason.  :)

 Thanks all.  So good so far.  Ten days...it's practically here already.  I'll have a few appointments in between now and then.  Surgery pre-appointment on Monday.  Wednesday I have my last NUT appointment and meeting with the medical director of the place I'm going through.  Then I'll have an EGD sometime between now and then.

When the alternative is not having the surgery you worked so hard to get approved, believe me, the shakes aren't such a big thing.  :)

I had surgery almost two weeks ago, and it was the best decision I've made. Including the 2 weeks on the shakes and the 2 weeks post-op, I've lost nearly 44 lbs.
