YES!!!!!!!!
As of late last week, I have entered ONDERLAND! As of today, I am 198.2 pounds!! I never thought in a million years that I would see these numbers, especially this soon! I am now a pound away from my halfway mark (goal is 125 to start).
Pants size started at 48/50 (remember, I wear men's sizes)....now my 40s are falling off of me!!
Shirt size started at 3xl-4xl....yesterday I was able to actually try on the size medium shirt I bought for myself back in January (my favorite tee shirt in 2xl has Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch as the members of Run DMC). It is still tight around the hips and breasts (what else is new...) but by gawd, I was able to at least put it on!
Most of my bras are unwearable, I think I have 2 or 3 sports bras and a regular bra that KINDA fit okay. The undergarments are laughably large right now!!
I haven't taken any body measurements lately. I already had a bunch of stretched out skin before surgery from carrying twins to full term, so it kind of changes my measurements some. I just found out that my insurer will pay for excessive skin removal if deemed medically necessary. I'm going to look into it when I'm sure that I'm done having kids....we ARE talking about another pregnancy (I won't say A baby...I could spit out another set of twins, or so they tell me!). Obviously that won't be happening this year, but it's good to plan, eh?
Sorry for the length, I'm pretty excited about everything going on right now! I generally keep better track of my happenings on Facebook and my blog. Feel free to add me on Facebook (email is austinrainbowparents @y****.com).

Leza, I've been waiting for this post!! You're doing a great job.
Reaching your half-way point in less than 6 months is fantastic. And on the excess skin issue, I'm much older than you and am amazed at how my body has obsorbed the skin. Give it some time and you may not even need that surgery.
Keep up the good work.

Leza, just in case you ever decide to attempt to get your insurance company to pay for plastics, you should start now to have your doctor record any problems caused by the excess skin. You will need to be able to prove medical necessity and a good way is using your medical records. It will remove a lot of doubt later on. Ask the doc for his experience as to what sort of issues would be pertinent.
