Ok I will start this off...with a "You wont believe this.."story....My scale broke last week you can only read part of the digital numbers. It does have a "lifetime" guarantee but it requires me to mail it in and them to send me a new one. Considering its is a fancy one that measures body fat and hydration I am sending it in...I wont be able to verify my weight till I get to the gym..

Based on some decryption of the what the digital screen said my best guess is;

High weight 301 (2/1/11)
Surgery Weight: 296 lbs (3/0711)
Last Week’s Weight: 255 lbs
Current Weight: 250 lbs

Total Loss: 51 lbs (from highest weight)
Total Post-Surgery Loss: 46 lbs
An Elephants heart and a rack of baby back ribs..
Weekly Loss: 5 lbs

I have 3 more lbs to get to my pre- surgery weight loss of 20 lbs.  Starting to get nervous as surgery is next week!

Thanks for asking I appreciate it.  Well I have lost 26 lbs as of yesterday, and my surgery is only 2 days away. Doing ok. Spoke to my Doc and she gave her blessing on the surgery. So I am nervous as heck but ready to do this.  I go in tomorrow for blood tests etc., and then thursday morning I checkin to the hospital at 5:15 am. Wish me luck G!!

Great job on the pre op diet...
I will tell you the same thing everyone else told me and it wont help with being nervous. Here is a universal response for the nervous piece...
You will be fine just trust your doc, do what your told, get healed up and start the rest of your life.

The only thing that will help with that is the recovery room. Hell even then the paranoia will smack you around again and again.

Here is another two cents worth of help, the harder part is trusting in yourself, dont set yourself up for failure and keep moving forward. If you fall off your horse get back on it and keep riding. DON'T LAY ON THE GROUND LOOKING UP AT IT AND WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED.
YOU FELL, GET UP OFF YOUR ASS, GET BACK ON AND HOLD ON TIGHT.

You will figure it out and you will win the battle...Keep us posted as much as you feel up to it.

Hugs

Thank you for the congrats...

I need to clarify the "You wont believe this" story..I was referring to the part about my damn scale breaking..5 years of weighing my largeness and now that I actually need it, it breaks. Go figure...
