4 days post op

Had the RNY 4 days ago... doin pretty good.. today is the first day i have had energy to do much of anything.  the 2nd  day was horrible with gas pains.  Still struggling with that as well.  Should I  be drinking my protein now?  worried I'm not doing the right things.

If you can tolerate it, go for it. Just keep sip sip sipin' and walk walk walkn'! Hang in there...it gets easier!

Congrats Danni, The gas pains will get better everyday just make sure your up alot moving the gas out lol! If your stomach can tolerate it and your Dr. oks it then go for it. Keep us posted.

i didn't start my protein until almost a week out. just try and focus on your water more than anything! if you can get in the protein, then try it!
