NSV - bought an XL shirt!

I wanted a new shirt tonight.  Most everything I have been wearing has been hanging off of me.  I wa able to buy an XL.....and the best part - IT FIT!

Congrats. Doesn't it feel great. You are about to start down a path of those kinds of things. Remember to take the time to notice them and appreciate them. You are doing great.

Its an amazing feeling ! I remember the day my partner was fed up with his shorts being so bunchy and all. We stopped at WalMart to get him something that fit a little better, he DANCED out of the fitting room in a size 42 grinning like the Devil!

That's an awesome NSV! Thanks for sharing, isn't it surprising how smaller clothes don't look like they're going to fit...then you try them on and wowie! They do!

I know the feeling. Last week I looked at myself in my now saggy pants and wondered if I should dare to try on one of those jeans that I bought several years ago - even if they were too small. I remember thinking: "Some dieting for a few weeks and then they'll fit just fine". Of course that never happened. I had to buy bigger ones instead, and when there were no bigger to buy - starting to mend the old ones.

It wasn't without fear I tried one of them on...and to my surprise they fit! Wow! Now I actually look smaller, even if I have a long way to go still. It's great!

Congrats on your non scale victory. I know how you feel i am in large shirts and 36 pants and before i was in 3 xl shirts and 42 pants and it feels great. Keep up all of the great work.
