Update - Insurance approved, waiting on Surgery Date!

Hi ya'll!

Just wanted to post an update on my surgery status. I got approved by my insurance last week, and am awaiting my doctor to review my file and schedule my surgery. I was struggling with lost about 10 pounds before he would schedule me, and after about 3 weeks on a very low-card diet, I lost 17.6 lbs! So hopefully in about a week, I'll get an appointment to schedule everything. I'm so excited! I'll definitely post all my progress here when i get it. Thanks to all for your support and information.

That is fantastic!! Congrats on getting the insurance approval. That's a very big step.

But your pre-surgery weight loss is simply amazing. You go, girl.

thanks for the kind words and encouragement. still waiting to hear back from the doctor, but they said to give it a week...after 6 months, this now seems like the longest week ever.

The last few of everything is the hardest. The last 10 pounds, the last 10 minutes of work, the last few days before surgery.. But when all is said and done, you will have a lifetime of change ahead of you. Hang in there...

I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

Woo hoo! I remember that excitement....well actually I got turned down first and was very down...but eventually I got approval....good feeling..like a first step on the path to change...hope you get a date scheduled soon!
