Half way there.....maybe!
This is my first post to the GLBT board, but I have been stalking and getting inspiration from here for a while.
After a very typical 2 week stall, during which time I lost a whopping 2 lbs, this week got me back on the losig track. Didn't do anything different, just my body finally agreeing that it was time to lose again. Lost 10lbs this week - yes, I am still in the honeymoon phase - gladly! That bring my total loss up to 64.9lbs (including pre-op weight loss, every pound counts).
Assuming I keep my goal weight at 220, I am half way to my goal!
I keep going back and forth on my goal being 200 or 220. I originally published 220 just because it seemed so much more attainable....now 200 actually appears to be in sight - so I may revise it.
I am feeling good (still plagued by some diarhea isues, but we are working on that), working out approximately 5 days a week, blood pressure is down (still on meds), and wearing clothes I have not touched in years.
Thanks for all of the support! Hoping my partner doesn't start getting jealous.

Congrats! You are doing very well! These stalls can be tough on the attitude. Just keep positive about what great work you have done so far and even better things will happen for you. As for your partner, I think that sometimes WLS strengthens partners' committments to each other. Although you read a lot about relationshsips tanking after WLS, they may not have been that stable to begin with. My partner has been quick to remind me that he has now been with me "through thick and thin" (an obvious reference to my weight loss). Perhaps all those nights staying by my side while I dumped and puked my guts up were something of a relationship building experience. (LOL)

You're doing fantastic!!
And, the stalls are very normal for me. I'll often lose little one week and then a good size drop the next week. However, on the weeks I'm not losing weight the inches are dropping off. So one week it's inches and the next week it's pounds.
As for goal weights, I set mine and 200 lbs. But, I'd really feel more comfortable at 190 lbs which would give me a 10 pound cushion. I could be very happy staying the rest of my life between 190 and 200 lbs.
I'd say to keep the 220 initial goal. Let yourself achieve that. Then you can always make 200 a secondary goal. But, I think there's a motivation / reward in reaching your initial goal.
Wow! congrats on dropping 65 lbs! that's fantastic. Ya honeymoon phase... I sure do miss that! Dropping inches is just as important as dropping lbs. Take your measurements once a month. I recorded mine on my OH health tracker. It was great to see those charts... and of course getting into smaller and smaller clothes.
I too had high bp pre-op and was on 2 diff types of meds for it. Pay attention to your body as your BP is getting better. If you notice that you are getting more and more light headed during a workout, see your dr. It may be time to get off or reduce those BP meds. But let the dr make that call.
Keep up the great work!
