Gratitude...amazing...

Went back to work Monday...I work in a bank and am extremely fortunate to have the support of management, co-workers & my customers...I've done so many damn mini runway walks/poses behind the line...striking poses for the customers...LOL...

Tuesday was 1st day back at the gym...Jim my trainer & long-time friend (>25 years) who's been calling me skinny b**ch for weeks (I slid right into his Beamer when he picked me up from the hospital...I've NEVER been able to get in & out of that damn car w/anything close to 'ease'!)....but he stopped Tuesday morning at the gym, looked and he was giddy...he said..."My god, you're actually....well, chubby...as opposed to huge...I've never able to call you chubby...you went from hot to huge before!" (we hadn't seen each other in years prior to both coming back to New England...I've been back 17 years, he's been back about 9)

Gastro/Liver Doc appt in Boston...his jaw dropped, thrilled as all hell...

Down another 3#, 33 since day of surgery, FIFTY since pre-pre-op diet...down 2 pants sizes since surgery...have cut down all my belts & punched new holes...

Now...if only my skin was as elastic as it was 20 years ago...I might be able to pull off that thong I used to sport on Venice Beach 89-91...LMAO...when donkeys fly...don't think that will ever happen again...and I'm perfectly OK with that...LOL...there is something to say about being "age appropriate" LOL

Congratulations!  Never say never.  You may sport that thong again.

Thanks...and I think I'll opt for protecting the sanity of others to not bear witness to that vision! LOL

Besides, I'll never be able to afford all the plastic surgery that would be needed to even come close to reshaping/removing all the extra skin I already have hangin! If I had only done this years ago while I still had some elasticity! LMAO!!!

Congrats, its a great feeling to get all the compliments. A friend of mine and I went to a support group meeting and this one lady lost over 200 lbs, and you would never have known, she said that she would use a loofah on all of her skin that didn't seem to have elasticity, and just work the skin really well while showering and just doing a total body moisturizing, from head to toe, This lady looked really awesome, just thought i'd share that with you.

Thanks Ryan...do you know how old she was? I have another friend here that lost >200, but he's only 33 & 3.5 years out...only sag is the old lady waving arm...but barely noticeable...he had to point it out to me...I've had recurring issues w/cellulitis so I'm leery of loofahs as they'll sparked relapses in the past...I'm sure I'll have a case for medically necessary plastics when the time comes...I am using a hemp based Body Shoppe Body Butter to moisturize now...especially during the dry winter months...
