As of 10/22, I have lost 47 lbs!
It feels wonderful! I now have space between me and the steering wheel, so I have to learn how to drive again.
I went to my cardiologist on the 25th, and the nurse asked me if I was okay. "You've lost 20 lbs in the last month." What a rush!!!
I'm setting a goal of 100 lbs by my birthday, (3/24) and if I make it, (I will) I need to think of something to reward myself with.
I have finally figured out that nasty feeling I get from sweet and sour sauce is dumping. It's not as severe as some have experienced, but, it's bad enough to avoid it ever again!!
Yuk!!!
Re a surgeon that will operate on an HIV poz person, you might want to pose this question to the staff of OH. They might do the research for you.
How in the world do I get the ticker to show my weight loss? I've played with it and can't change it. Stupid ticker!!

The only good cat is a sleeping cat...>^--^< zzzzzzz

Congrats on your weight loss! You must be so excited! To update your ticker go to health tracker and click on update tracker.... once you enter weight it automatically saves it. It may take awhile for you to see it, usually the next time I log in it's there.

Way to go!! That's great success.

Also impressed you have a goal to reach 100 lbs. lost. I firmly believe that working towards a specific goal is essential.

High Weight = 310     Surgery Weight = 300   Dr's Goal = 200   My Goal = 190

Congratulations.  I would definitely "pick-out" something for the 100 lb mark like a piece of jewelry that can be a long-term reminder of your success.  And, I bet you reach it long before your birthday . . .
