It's official!
I just got the official approval letter in the mail for the roux-en-Y surgery to be done at Parker Adventist Hospital on December 14, 2010. I am totally excited (even though I knew it would be approved, it's even better to see it on paper!)
After 10 years of being told no, I'm FINALLY told YES!!!! My partner told me the other night that she is planning on the same type of surgery and dieting right along with me...we just have to find a way to pay for hers, as with many others (and me up til now), her insurance through the Union won't pay for it.
