Whoa!!! Surgery this morning and you're already on line?!?!

So very glad the surgery went well and you're back among us so soon. That's very encouraging.

Best of luck on the recover. Remember, that it takes at least 24 hours for the anesthetic to get out the system. So, don't get discouraged if you feel a little rocky for a couple of days.

Congratulations on successfully making it through the first part of your post-operative journey!  I am a bit surprised that you're online so soon, but if it works for you, go for it.

Stay in touch, and make sure you reach out with any questions to any of us.  If not already, your journey will be interesting going forward; you'll need some good support to help you through the undulations that are sure to come.

Welcome to being a loser.
Respectfully,

Hey Joe,  Good to see you back on.  How was it?  was it as scary as you thought.  i am still thinking of scary thoughts.  I still don't have a date yet I wont really know until 1st of Dec.  When will you be able to go home?  Anyway I am glad you are okay.

Trish, I was 100% paranoid something bad was going to happen till i got to the hospital, then whew i had no time to be scared everything moved very quickly and smoothly. I get to go home today and feel great, just had my first bm (sorry tmi) Dont worry i barely felt any discomfort except for the gasseness everyone talks about. Trust me you'll do just fine.

Joe,

Hope you still doing good. Are you making out OK at home? Any words of wisdom on the post-op road?

I am doing great. It's a little challenging with 2 kids but i seem to manage. I barely feel anymore pain justs lots and lots of gas. My only words of wisdom are  Stay focused, don't get discouraged and don't cheat. Thats about all i can offer for now since i'm only a few days out of the hospital, but i will pray for you and keep in touch and let us know how you are doing when you can. Good luck, sending prayers your way.
