I'm almost to a 2 month stall...I pretty much know that I haven't been the best lately. lol There is not anything that i can't eat! Sometimes...just sometimes something will give me a problem(usually something with too much sugar). I am kicking myself in the butt and getting back on track! ;)

Anyone else able to eat anything they want? How many times do you eat? I see some people eat every 2 hrs and some only eat 3 meals...

I am only 3 weeks out and have found several foods that I can not tolerate. I have found that refried beans with cheese and taco seasoning go down very easy, I also cant drink anything cold, has to warm. I am still doing 6 small "meals" a day though. Too early to tell with me. Hang in there.

I generally eat every 2-3 hours.  I need to stretch it out and can when not bored at work.  I too can eat almost anything.  I don't feel great when I eat "badly" for a few days in a row.  So far, this feeling has prompted me to get back to protein, small portions and less sugar/alcohol.

Love the new avie Christy!! Very cool!

Stalls blow chunks but are totally normal and part of the process.

Just keep following the rules, high protein, vitamins, exercise and water and you'll get there- I stalled all summer long!

Oh and I do the 6-8 times a day eating too cuz otherwise I boink out at the gym!

ed. to add- just because you can...doesn't mean you should. I don't do rice, potatoes, fried foods, alcohol, sugar, soda...and only the occasional wheat something.

Oh yeah... I'm with Danni.  Stalls totally happen.  I'm 13 months post op and I can eat pretty much anything within reason.  I still will dump if I go a little too crazy and I have totally stalled at times too... worst one was 6 weeks.  The way I get off the stall is increase my water and journal everything I eat.  I exercise between 4-6 times a week all the time so I'm good there.  But I do get hungry every 3 hours or so.  So I make sure that I have protein bars or something healthy for me to snack on at work and at home in the evenings.

Just bring a little bit of that rigor back and you'll see the #'s move again.

Eh...I hate stalls, but it happens and is VERY common.  I stalled twice at 180 for about a month and 160 for about 2 months, then finally fell to 140 and have been fluctuating between 140-147 for I guess a botu a year now, BUT this is where I want/need to be.

SUGAR is hell for me!  I can really eat anything else...pasta, bread rice although pasta and rice sometime**** me the wrong way.  I only eat three times a day on work days.  Days off, I may snack throughout the day (healthy of course).  Your stride will come...promise :-)  And do not worry about the stalls....they will pass.

Agreeing with everyone else stalls do suck. I do agree with Danni though just because you can eat something doesn't mean you should. I have not had pasta, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, potatoes, chips anything fried since 2 days before my surgery last November. I stay away from regular bread and if I have bread it is either Weigh****chers bread or Arnold Sugar free bread. I eat salt free pretzels, goldfish, a few almonds, or protein bars for snacks. If I am going to go more than 4ish hours without a meal I will have a small snack.

I have hit stalls and just really concentrate on getting in all my liquids. I usually am at the gym about 5 times a week but life happens and can't always get to the gym so figure out ways to get in a light exercise at home. You will kick through this stall, it just sucks to get through them
