Insurance approved
I just got the good news that my insurance has said yes!!!!!!
Now, I just have to be cleared by a cardiologist, (that's necessary for us old farts)--tests are the 21st, and tentative surgery date is JULY 29!!!!!!
I can hardly believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've already cried a couple of times. I'm sure there will be more!

someone at the surgeon's office has their wires crossed and consequently now my surgery is scheduled for 8/12. $#&@*%!!!!!!!!
I was looking at the paperwork they gave me and in it is a paper on the psychological aspects of wls.
It mentioned that the patient will probably notice the attention of the opposite sex!
I told the nurse, "but, I'm Gay. What about me?"
I don't want the attention of the opposite sex-YUK!
I'm going to send them a copy of it and ask them to consider us.
