New Guy to Forum from TN

Hello everyone am so happy I have found this site.  I have my surgery date of 19 July having the RNY bypass done.  Have struggled with my weight my entire life.  Looking forward to this journey to become much more healthier and happier.

Thanks for the welcome,  Gald to hear that this place is a good place to get some support.  So how are you doing now with the RNY, after over a year out.   My surgery is the 19 of this month only 6 more days...looking forwar to it and getting my journery to another level.

Good luck on the upcoming surgery.  Once you have it you will not look back!!

I am 2 years out and bad habits are starting to creap back in.  I currently have to make a very conscience effort about what I should and shouldn't eat.

I have maintained so, I just need to revisit my eating as of late.

PS - I had my surgery at Baptist in Nashville.

Thanks for the post, So you are having some issues on falling back on old habits, you can change that.  I'm having my surgery at centennial hospital on Monday the 19th.  Where are you from? I live in the nashville area actually in La Vergne.

I live in Hermitage.

I am getting it all under control.  I can see how "losing control" can cause weight gain, but I've not seen that myself.  Nipping it in the bud so to speak.
