Wow, been on here a while and just found this forum!

Hello my people!  Nice to be among friends.  I'm looking forward to seeing what interesting posts pop up here.  BTW, I'm bi-sexual, in a long term (14 yr.) relationship with my beautiful black wife (who's always been lesbian) and Pride is coming to Philadelphia on Sunday.  May be too hot for me to bear though.  I would love to go since I haven't been in years.  Anyhow...what going on people?

Pride is in Boston tomorrow but I have something else I gotta attend!! It's ok..I've never been to pride and we don't like big crowds any way LOL!

San Francisco Pride is on the 27th.  If the weather is nice my friend and I will take the ferry across the bay to SF and not worry about parking.  It has been a few years for me, also.  The parade and festival can be intense in a good way and intense in a not-so-good way for me.  Seeing all those mostly, if not completely, naked men and their gym bods can make me feel bad about my body.  The plan is by next year's Pride I wll have had surgery and lost a large amount of weight.  That should be fun!

Hi Kim, welcome to the message board. So did you end up going to Pride over the weekend? There was one in San Antonio this weekend and I was hoping to go since it would have been my first, but I ended up not going. There is also going to be a GLBT parade and street party there on July 3, and I'm really hoping to go.

Thank you for the warm welcome all!  No, I didn't go...it was so hot I had to say in the air...even though I'm cold all the time after surgery.  It went to 98 degrees and was very humid.  Too much for me!  We did however, decide to go fishing in the morning and wrapped it up around 10am before the true heat set in.  A friend of mine caught a nice sized bass and I took it home and cooked it!  It was my first time cooking a fresh fish that wasn't already filleted for me.  Now, that was a sight to see.  LOL  It's a lot harder cutting off a fish head then one would think and gutting it...disgusting.  Won't even go there.  However, the fish was good.  Could have used some better seasoning but, oh well.  I'm on facebook and would love all of you to friend me...how do I find out what my link is Maryn?  I know my myspace is www.myspace.com/kimbowman0730.  Well, if you guys want to find me on facebook search my email address [email protected].
