Pulmonary Clearance Letter - check!
Therapist Clearance Letter - check!
MMPI test - check! (waitng on the report though)
I was hoping to have my surgery around my birthday (5/25) but that is obviously not going to happen, thanks to the dude that rear ended me going 45mph last month. That car accident adventure loused up my schedule. But I am on track and almost there. I'm hoping for a rapid approval (I have 'Cadillac Insurance' so shouldn't be a problem). And then the scheduling.
I have sacrificed .... no wrong word..... I am dedicated to this process and have cancelled or delayed many things in my life to have WLS.
Just come on, damnnit! 20 years of fat boy is over. GRRRRR
OT: Oh since my car was totalled in the accident, I bought a new Subaru Outback. Am I now an honorary lesbian? If so, do I get a toaster or a new shower head or something?? ;)

I hate the waiting game!! But once it's over and done with it's a HUGE sigh of relief. Think of it like this ...our center always calls your surgery date your new birthday, so maybe it will be good that it's not TOO close to your actual birthday - it will be your own special day not surrounding your actual birthday. Make sense? I feel like I'm talking in birthday circles LOL
