Offending straight women?

Due to my weight I really haven't been out & about in bi scene.  It's a lot easier for men to find me attractive than women...or so i think...I just have felt uncomfortable flirting with another girl because I am unsure of myself. 
I find myself "checking out" women from afar and was wondering if there were any responses from straight women who have catught another women eyeing them . I now most men will be uncomfortable with another man checking them out.  
But maybe I can get some insight on being a little more out going toward women.  Maybe even s secret language so to speak for Bi women.
I feel like I sound so ignorant on this topic.  But I am hoping that with my weight loss will come some confidence gain. 

I don't know how to pick up girls either LOL!! I found mine on Myspace - we've been together for 3 years. Have you tried a gay bar/club? Or any other place where it's a "gay scene"?

I think women are a lot more used to being checked out, and if they're not interested they'll make it clear- so as long as your not being offensive... I think it's acceptable.
However, I'm impressed that your husband is okay with you doing this- my gf goes nuts when I look at other women!!

I can totally relate to your post, but I've just found out that I'm not nearly as subtle at checking out women as I though I was. I was at dinner with friends and got busted for checking out several females. They were both hot, but one had an awesome tattoo on her back and the other had on a really cute dress I liked and also her haircut. I've also got caught by several women looking at their breasts. Come on, it's an automatic reflex, how can I help it. One was a straight friend and her response was "oops am I showing too much clevage?" and the other was a house-mate who I've now found out is also Bi (but married to a guy) and wants to date me. She and her husband are also the ones who noticed me looking at the women in the restraunt.

Here is my thing. If I tell you I am straight and you back off. No problem. You start in about how you can change me (like that works.), we have issues.

I flirt with women the same way I'd flirt with a man.  A little smile, a little something in the voice.  They'll either respond or not.  If they flirt back, good, all the more fun.  If not... someone else will.

And let's face it, it might just seem like it's easier for a man to find you attractive because it's a hell of a lot easier to hit on a man instead of sitting there trying to figure out which woman you *might* be able to flirt with.

I don't currently pick up women. However, I plan to start later... right now  I am focusing on me..... romance later... but I know what would get me. if a woman  looked into my eyes   and then gave me an sincere compliment... (careful I can detech bull a mile away) ...be straight up  about your intention be  up front... don't be no punk! Be assertive! Make me laugh! Confidence is very attractive to me and any woman.  I like when a woman is bold enough to go for what she wants.. This shows me that woman is a go getter and will have what it takes to stand against all the injust treatment against lesbians  ... means she aint no punk!  If you the nervous type humour will ease the tension.
Don't be aggressive or desperate this  will get you the frown face.  I will think you have a mental disorder like my ex lol...   

if you try this and she turn you down ... just say girl I was just kidding!
