Well I guess it's time for me to say hello to everyone.  I have been on here for sometime now and I haven't said a word.  I have been doing a lot of reading and learning.

I received my call last night from my insurance company telling me that I was approved, which brought up a lot of emotions, good, bad, scared. The process took so long to get to this point I felt like it wasn't really gonna happen and wala!  last night was the call.

So I need to share my joy and my fear with other people that are or have gone threw this.

Thanks for letting me say hi!

ohh you have "The Last Supper" syndrome :)

try not to eat "everything" before surgery. I just ate foods that I really enjoy, like steak and ice cream.  I can eat steak now but I could not for the first 6 months out.  It didn't digest well.
I still don't eat ice cream, which is sad cause it use to be my favorite thing to eat.
Just don't go overboard...life after surgery is very different!!!

you'll have alot of support on this site..... best of luck with the surgery :)
