Gastritis

Hi again all,I went to my gallbladder ultrasound and EGD today and now im a little worried. First of all, the ultrsound tech told me i had a polyp in my gallbladder, but reassured me it was normal. Then after awakening from my EGD the nurse said i had gastritis and prescibed some meds which im supposed to take for 30 days . My question is will i still be able to get the Roux en y with it? Has anyone had gastritis and gotten roux en y surgery? Any help would be appreciated because im starting to worry that i wont be able to get it now.

Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach.  Your surgeon may want to reevaluate you in 30 days to see if the medications improved your condition, prior to scheduling surgery.
