Im in the soft food stage. And im wondering what else consist in this soft food stage. I have egg beaters, string cheese, yougurt down no problem. Is there anything else i can try to shake up my options at this point. And is hummus something that is possible for me?

You are doing a lot better than I did as I could not get anything down for a long time.

Some other foods that I really enjoyed: oatmeal with protein poweder, fat free ricotta cheese with pizza sauce and fat free mozerella cheese melted on it,  protein pudding from vitamin world and protein puddings from bariatricchoice,com

I am not sure about hummus as my dr only wanted me to have protein foods and there is not much protein in hummus I don't think.

During the soft food stage had Campbell's bean and bacon soup and split pea soup.  Cottage cheese, but not whipped...no thank you!  You might also try Refried beans with cheese.

Careful, Hummus made me dump, and still does 2 years later.

Any soup is great, and this will probably be a dumb question but are you drinking protein drinks?

yes i am drinking protien. Isopure mix. It pretty good so i get in at least 50 from that a day and then whatever i get from what i try to eat a day.
