Going back to work
The explanation I got was .........
It's not really about the type of job you have ...the time of from work is more so that you can focus on yourself for a few weeks. The liquid schedule is HARD! And the problem with jobs is that people get distracted and forget to follow the schedule and after you have surgery it's not like you can play "catch up" and get in the fluid and protein you missed.

I had a little bleed after surgery and ended up anemic and needing a blood transfusion. My hospital stay ended up being 6 days total. I still went back to work after 3 weeks (planned time off). I drive 40 minutes each way and that was a bit of a challenge. I was bored at home by myself the last week off but very tired when I did finally go back to work. Sometimes, I wanted to shorten my day but the drive did not make partial days reasonable.
that helps alot....I asked my surgeon and he said based on what you do at your job, your age and your health currently...i don't see a problem with you going back to work after a week....but that I should listen to my body......i just wanted to see if i could find somone who went back to work after a week or so.......thanks alot!
