Two week preop diet

Hey everyone,
I am having RNY surgery on the 12th and just started my two week diet of liquids. I am using Isopure for my protein shake, clear broth, ice pops and water. I just seem to still be very hungry. Did anyone else have this problem and if so and you give me some advise to get through this. Also, what are some better tasting protein shakes other than Isopure.
 

I have enjoyed the stuff from Bariatricfusion.com. The chocolate mouse and vanilla are really good tasting to me and the shipping was very fast.

Are you on only clear stuff or allowed other types of soup? I found the soups from wholefoods that come in a cardboard box very tasty. Most are 60 calories per cup and a little more filling than broth, if you're allowed to have that kind of stuff.

Thanks for the advise. Unfortunetly I can not have the chocolate mouse for about another 6 weeks. I can only have clear liquids and protein shakes for the next two weeks.

When I was on the presurgery liquid diet, I used the Bariatric Advantage meal replacement protein shakes. They were very filling and between that, broth, crystal light, jello etc I was fine.  Hope that helps. The 12th will be here before you know it.

Re: The Bariatric Fusion "Chocolate Mousse" that is a flavor of the shake, it's not a mousse and should be OK if you are allowed protein shakes. The Bariatric Fusion line has great nutrition.

Good luck!!!!! It wll be over bfore you know it. I just had my surgery on the 25th of march! and i feel good already. I wish you the best recovery!
