im not really new to the site but i am new to this forum..just wanted to introduce myself. i recently had the DS in August and have lost about 160 pounds..ii would love to hear about everyone else's success stories...

OMG!! Congrats! That is alot of weight in a short time...what a ride! HOpe things are going well. I lost about 120 total and am in maintenance and am one happy camper...almost to my 2 year mark...can't wait to see how my labs are ....

I had RNY in 2003, kept off 100, revised to a DS in Dec. due to reflux/vomiting, and I'm down about 32. It's been great and has opened me up to so much in life.

Wow, that is great! Congrats! I just had my lapband surgery done a week ago and have lost a total of 57lbs, 52lbs before surgery and 5lbs after. Great work, keep it up!
