2 1/2 week update!

Hi Guys! I am allowed to eat half an egg, yogurt, and cottage cheese. So far everything is going great! The food is going down good, just getting a little bored with it. On the 15th i'll be allowed to have tuna, shrimp, cooked veggies, salad, and melon. Can't wait to have a nice salad! Just not sure what I will be able to put in the salad. How far out were you guys when you were able to have tomatoes or Chicken?

They told me I could have chicken as soon as I started soft foods (about  week ago) as long as I chewed it very well. I've had no problem with it at all, but tuna just doesn't sit well.  

I've found Morton's pot roast from Costco works as well, and it is very yummy.  I think it is just a matter of finding out what works for you and your pouch. 

Hopefully you'll get the go ahead to start experimenting with more foods soon!

Glad to hear you're doing great Christy! I think I had to wait 8 weeks before I could eat dense protein or fibrous salads, but everyone is different.
I would recommend that once you can have tuna that you try other white fi**** helped me feel normal because people don't usually eat a ton of fish at one time like they do chicken or steak.
