Hey There LGBT Folks!

Gotta a quick question fur ya...... What's been your most wondrous Non-Scale Victory?

For me it's been getting the T-shirts back that I wore in middle school! I gave them to my dad when I grew out of them ( I was a fat teen), and he just gave some back and they fit!!!!!

Feels so good--what about yours??!!!???

Mine would be dressing like a girl, putting on a dress!

When I was heavy I wore men's clothes only ...it was easier, comfortable, and I could "hide" easier. I like being girlie

My most memorable was when I did not have to shop in the big boys department. I tried on 38" jeans; they were too big. So I bought 36" waist. I was so happy I bought like 4 pairs.

Actually the NSV that I am the happiest with is my increased activity level. I began cycling and love it. I never dreamed I would be cycling 25-30 miles each Sunday. I can't imagine just laying around on a weekend anymore.

ok first of all... Jill you crack my ass up!!!!  You go girl... you and ur nani!!!!  lmfao!

And my NSV... well i have 2:  first: a couple of wks ago I ran into a woman that i was very close friends with a couple of yrs ago. she absolutely did not recognize me 'cuz i look SOOOOOOOOOO different now that i've permanently released 92 lbs.  woo hoo!

second: just happened this morning! i'm at a spiritual conference in LA this wkend. Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith (the minister from the Secret, the PBS special "The Answer Is You", and the spiritual leader of Agape www.agapelive.com) recognized me from a musical retreat I went to with his wife Rickie Byars Beckwith and was blown away at how amazing I look.  Peeps... this guy runs a church w/10k people, speaks to literally millions of people a year and he remembered me!  He's basically one of my all-time spiritual icons.

Oh, and if you're connected to me on facebook, I posted a pic of us tonight. woo hoo!

OK... a 3rd NSV!  (life is so damn good right now!!!)  I'm wearing the same size that I did when I was a freshman in high school... a 16!  i haven't been this small in 25 years! literally!!!

Realizing I could march the parade route in Manhattan with no back/foot/leg pain. It was a big moment for me.
