Aww "m really sorry about your divorce... it sucks.  I'm in the middle of one too..well we have been apart for 15 months but paying to $$ to lose the piece of paper is causing the legality of it to be halted for now :( bah! Oh p[lease nobody take that as insensitive though because I am a HUGE supporter of the rights of all to legally marry and I have spoken on the topic MANY times and all of that...ok.  Anyway,  I am so proud of you for the way you seem to be handling it. It is time for you to work on you and I am so glad you realize that the issues you were having had nothing to do with weight.   I think you will be very successful and I hope you get your approval VERY soon!!!

Sorry to hear about your divorce.  I totally get it. My ex gf broke up with me 36 hrs before my RNY surgery cuz she was too freaked out about it.  She was scared ****less and I totally wasn't. Her emo drama not mine.  And that's the case here with you... the end of your marriage was your ex's emo drama and not yours.  You are taking on yourself in a profoundly healthy way now. I'm proud of you.  You're not alone, remember that!

hey Mimi. I remember when you were just going through the divorce and trying to settle your spinning head down. Look how far you've come since then. It is really a testament to you and your resilience and strength. Rock on chick, That insurance company doesn't stand a chance!! 

Wow, that's unfortunate but someone from the boards told me if you have an issue in your relationship this whole WLS thing will blow it right out of the water. I'm having issues as well. My partner is not supportive of my health choice but bottome line this is my life, my health and my decision.
She seems to be pulling away. She won't even talk to me about it. At first I thought she was just trying to be controlling because she said, "so you are going to go ahead and have this surgery although I asked you not to?" My thought was  huh?? Everything is not about you. Bottom line I made my choice and am moving through the process. Thank goodness for this site.
