Happy New Year!

I was just thinking about my resolution for the upcoming year.  Food, diet and weight have always been the centerpiece of my desired change each year.  Again this year . . . I already wrote some into my daily food diary.

I wonder if I should also pick something non-food, non-weight related?

What is your resolution everyone?  Or, I forget, are they secret like wishing about a shooting star?

You know ..in Feb 2008 I began my weight loss journey. It was the first year I completed any sort of New Year's Resolution. I think this year ...it's going to be all about doing new things that I couldn't have done when I was heavy! I've already done a lot ..but I can picture more fun things happening this year.

Happy New Year!

GLBT Friends,
Weight loss has always been one of my resolutions. This year it remains but I have put less importance on it. I want to lose about another 10 pounds to hit the goal weight I set 18 months ago. This year I put a list on my blog of things I want to do and experience in 2010. I think since my surgery and weight loss, I have become more active and more apt to try things. So, I put together a list of 30 things I want to do in 2010. Some are minor, some are funny, some are serious, and some are just dreams. Here is where you will find my list.

Brooke,
I've come to believe that the small things often make the most impact since they result from a bigger change that you don't even know occurred.

Happy New Year! I had Lap Band WLS in March 2009 and have lost 48 lbs so far. I have fallen off the wagon but I am getting back on. My resolution is to lose my final 45 lbs by my birthday in April and quit smoking and become more consistent with my work outs. It's especially important to me to reach my weight goal and quit smoking because it's hard on me when I work out. I guess thas about it. So wish me luck!!!
