Just saying hi
Hey everyone! My name is Kerrie...I am 23 years old, and live in Cumberland, Rhode Island. I just saw that there was a Gay/Lesbian section on here, and I got very excited! Haha. I had my Gastric Bypass RNY on 11/17/09, which makes me 4 weeks post-op. I have no friends yet on here, so I was just looking to meet some different people. :o) So yeah...Just wanted to say hi :o)

Haha Thanks! I am doing wonderful! I've had no complications at all which I am very happy about (of course) No pain, moving around great..And I got back to work after the New Year which is wonderful! Haha Still on puree so I'm starting to get alittle bored since I am eating the same things every single day...So if there are any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them! Haha :o)

Welcome Kerrie! I don't know what you're eating but I lived off of strained soups esp. Chinese soups!

Hi Kerrie! welcome & congrats on your new life! woo hoo! my fave puree dish was this:
brown a lb of ground turkey w/a little fresh garlic & about 1/4 to 1/2 onion.
Blend the browned ground turkey with your favorite marinara sauce in a food processor.
Eat a little and stick the rest in the fridge. It will last for days and it's pretty yummy, healthy, and high in protein while low in carbs.
We're a good bunch. A lot of us are on facebook too. check out the other couple of threads about facebook for people's names/facebook urls.
