Kicking it into a higher gear- love my new Body Bugg!

My birthday was recent and I got a new Body Bugg. I really love how it makes me want to move so I can clock my calories burned against my calories consumed. I can't get the little BUGGer to lie to me tho.. LOL. Today I had two bean burritos ( did good things like low fat shredded cheese and no fat sour cream) but just ate too much ( just... the story of my heavy life) and totally undid  the good I had just done for 30  minutes on my elliptical machine. Well, the numbers don't lie, and I have a goal to lose a certain amount of weight before I take a vaca to Florida in February. (My first fill is 12/27 so this work will happen the old fashioned way til I start the bunt for restriction). So, I got back on that elliptical machine for another 30 minutes and made those numbers come out in my favor. I am coking healthy, home made food for the first time in my life, have a shame free reaction to a dumb move with food and made up for it.

God knows there are tough challenges ahead but I can't tell you how amazed I am at this energy and change in thinking. Go body bugg!! Don't ever let me talk you into lying to me. Reality is a good thing!

My ex wife gave it to me as a present to it didn't cost me a thing!!  It costs 199.00. Another friend gave me 50.00 toward the 79.00 cost of the wrist monitor as well. You usually have to wait to plug your Bugg into the computer so that it can upload your activity. What i will like about the monitor is you know how you are doing in real time. The site is very cool because you can set goals for weight loss and then you know exactly how many cals you can take in and how much you need to burn off. Numbers are very clear. You enter what you have eaten for each meal as well so you really track what goes in your mouth ( eye opening all on it's own!)

That is a great little item, but there are others out there as well that might even work in Canada.

I have a heart rate monitor that does the calories and website access via Polar.  They are the Polar watches.  I have the F7.

There is a strap that goes around your chest (I got the upgraded version that is not plastic and is cloth).

Works great.
