Don can we get an update on where you are with your thyroid cancer?

Yanno - I made that my signature when I first joined OH, but set my settings to hide signatures. I didn't even know that was showing every time I posted, plus I've been missing out on everyone else's signatures!  Sheesh!    I'm gonna have to find something a little more interesting for my sig now that I know everyone sees it!  What an idiot!!!    

Well now, I am just not sure that rises to the level of idiot! Got me humming a cool old tune didn't it!

I'm working on trying to get the surgery done in early January followed a few weeks later by a radiated iodine treatment.  I've hit a little snag, though, were I can't seem to get an appointment with any of my HMO endocrinologists until after Christmas, which will probably push the surgery until late January, early February.

Honestly, I'm not really thinking about it too much, though I'm really worried that I'm stress eating.  Keeping a close eye on it - I'm eating more than normal, but not a freakishly large amount.  Won't be losing much this week, but I don't think I'll be gaining.  I'm basically holding it together.
