I am a Canuck from Nova Scotia and have lived in CT for almost 20 years now!
I have two wonderful boys. Oldest is 11 and has Asperger's. Youngest is 8 and I adopted him from Guatemala 6 years ago after waiting for him for 2.5 years. The are the light of my life and I could sleep for a year dealing with them sometimes!
I did the Canadian prerequisite back packing trip in Europe. What a cool adventure.
I am gay, divorced for 4 years and working on getting hot and dating again with my new band buddy to help me get there!
I came close to killing a woman who stood over my cart yesterday at Stop N Shop and counted my items ( I had 14)... this while I was bundled in a down jacket, sick with some damned virus yet starving and needing food. She will never know how close she came to an ER visit.
I am a nurse therapist and work with young adults 18 to 25 in the North end of Hartford. Tough damned kids who I love alot.
I am addicted to all things C- cake, cookies crumbly foods ice cream high fat high carb no nutritional value. Since my lap band I have switched addictions to decaf tea.
I started riding bikes a few years ago and have raised over 8,000 for leukemia and lung disease. I have ridden one century ride with Leukemia Lymphoma team in Training and two 160 mile rides with the Mass Lung Association. I do it in honour of my dad who died a couple years ago of COPD and my friend Michele, who is a 10 year survivor of leukemia.
I love reading fan fic on the computer.
I have a house of rescues... all of us are adopted.. even the two cats and my dog! Family gets born in the heart as well as the womb!

Sorry, I don't know her- I've only been with them a few years. Women's chorus is so much fun, I'm not surprised she talked about it all the time!

Okay,
My name is Chuck. I'm a navite Texan.
I have a partner of 6 years named Stan:
I'm a leo. I like video games (World of Warcraft, Gears of War, Aion, etc...) I am a huge Texas Hold'em fan. I watch it on TV all the time and I play online quite a bit.
I have no children, pets, or plants as anything that requires me to sustain it's life is surely doomed.
