Wonderful new vitamin!!
Good morning OH family!!
Of course it's been a few weeks since I've been able to scrap a few moments together to hop on. But I wanted to share a wonderful discovery.
I have been trying all different kinds of vitamins. Bariatric Advantage (amazingly lower concentration of some nutrients than other vitamins!), Centrum Chewable, Centrum Liquid (can we say EWWW), and most recently some chocolate chewy thing (too sweet!) So when I ran out of my very last chewable Centrum and chocolaty thing, I went to the store to find something, ANYTHING new.. And that is when it happened... I found..
ONE A DAY ENERGY ADVANTAGE 2o... It is a drink mix multi vitamin. It is lemon lime flavored and geard toward those who lead an active lifestyle ( like me! ) I simply add it to my water in the morning and drink it while I'm working out. It actually has higher levels of many nutrients than the Centrum does.. And it really tastes good too! Just like a Crystal Light drink.
I know I sound like a commercial. But this stuff is really wonderful.

I added 1 cup of coffee an hour before every work out about 3 weeks ago, and have really noticed a difference.

There is still a large split in the medical community.. Some belive that caffeine increases hunger.
My own personal experience is... Caffeine does NOT make me more hungry. And since I started implenting the 400 mg (or I just have one cup of coffee) before my workouts (as per Jillian Michaels) I notice a much higher fat burn when i drink a cup before going to the gym. It has kicked my sweat prodiction in overdrive.
She also reccomends white willow bark, but since it's in the asprin family I need to check with the nutritionist to see if we can take it.
1. Did you find out about the willow bark?
2. How far in advance do you take the coffee before your workout? 1/2-hour? Hour?

As for the caffienne. Jillian says an hour before workout.. But at 5:30 in the morning, I'm not up an hour before work out. I make it first thing when I get up and drink it on the way to the gym. So probably a 1/2 hour to 15 minutes prior to work out.
Yes, let's book some time. We'll be HAPPY to come that way...
