Newbie around here

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site, and happy that i've also found this forum. I'm from London Ontario Canada. and Have recently decided to have lapband surgery done. i'm tired of the crash diets and my money being wasted. I'm excited for this step, and have been in contact with the people at slimband.com
I'm just in the process of researching, and gathering the funds together. my gf is very supportive aswell as my mum. i'm 25 and want to live life.

i'm looking for some friends aswell. so anyone out there wanting to friend me, i'd be more than happy to be friends. this is a journey and they seem to be alot more fun, when you have people you can relate too.

Hey there. Welcome to the boards and kudos for you as you start to look at the idea of the lap band. And I would be happy to be your friend. Nice to have chats with a fellow Canuck! Very great that your GF and your mum are supportive of your goals. That will mean alot as you get closer to the surgery date.

Wellcome to a great group of people, who also got  fed up with yo-yo dieting and starving ourselves even fatter.  It does not work  (well for 2 percent it does ...statistically). 

I hope you will find a type a WLS that will be best for you and you feel comfortable with using in order to achive your weightloss goal. Happy to hear you have good support and I am sure you will find some kind online friends here
